Voters in the State of Michigan will have a chance this year to weigh in on several proposals that will have a significant impact on their quality of life.

Proposal 3 would establish a hunting season for mourning doves. Is this really necessary? No. We have better things to worry about than blasting little creatures out of existence. This is one of those things that we find ourselves shaking our collective heads at.
